AIMS AND PRINCIPLES The Citizens' Advice Bureau in Swale is a charity serving the communities of Faversham, Sheppey and Sittingbourne and the surrounding countryside - a population of more than 120,000 living in a deprived area of North Kent. Objects of the Charity The objects of the Charity are to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community in Swale and the neighbourhood thereof (“the area of benefit”), by the advancement of education, the protection and preservation of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress. The Bureau is a member of Citizens Advice, the national association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, all of whose members adhere to the following aims and principles.
