DATA PROTECTION ACT (1998)

The above Act requires us to ask for your written consent to keep records about your case.

In addition, some of the Bureau's case records may be checked by Citizens Advice or the Legal Services Commission to make sure that we are continuing to provide you with a good service.

Clients should be assured that the Bureau places the highest priority on maintaining strict confidentiality in all its dealings with clients and has an excellent record in this respect.

The above arrangements are made solely in the interests of providing a quick and efficient service with the resources available. Confidentiality will be maintained at all times and your legal rights are not affected.
