WHO FUNDS US

The CAB gratefully acknowledges the support of a number of donors but particularly Swale Borough Council, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux (NACAB), Faversham Town Council and Swale Housing Association who provide the main funds for the CAB’s core activities. Total income in 2006/7 was £308,631, with over 50% from non-local authority sources.

The Bureau represents very good value for the community. Eventually money gained for clients makes its way back into the local economy via shops and services so that many people benefit. This year over £430,000 was recovered for clients, which represents nearly three times the value of Local Council funding.
