WHO FUNDS US
The CAB gratefully acknowledges the support
of a number of donors:

- The Legal Services Commission
(LSC) which provides the funds for the Welfare Benefits, Debt
and Housing Advice franchises;
- The BIS Financial Inclusion
Fund (FIF) and Citizens Advice
which fund two Debt Caseworker posts;
- The BIS and Citizens
Advice which fund the Additional Hours of Advice Project;
- Faversham Town Council
for contributing to the costs of the Faversham Caseworker;
- Swale Housing Association,
who contribute to our core costs, in recognition of the service we provide
many of their tenants;
- Swale Housing Association
and Swale Borough Council Housing Options Team
who jointly fund a Housing Advisor;
- The Nationwide Building Society
that funds the Financial Capability Project in partnership with Citizens
Advice;
- The East Kent Primary Care
Trust;
- A number of Parish Councils
in the Borough;
- Friends of CAB in Swale;
- The Swire Trust;
- Kent County Coucil who
have agreed to provide new funding in 2009/10 as part of Backing Kent
People.
Total income in 2008/9 was £361,441,
with 60% from non-local authority sources.

The Bureau represents very good value
for the community. Eventually money gained for clients makes its way back
into the local economy via shops and services so that many people benefit.
